Meredith is a student at the University of Otago. 2018 is the penultimate year of her degrees, working towards a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts with a Politics major and a minor in Māori studies. Meredith is passionate about the relationship between the Treaty of Waitangi and public law, in particular how Treaty obligations are met and the incorporation of tikanga principles into our law. Meredith is a part of the student-led consultancy group Ignite Consultants and volunteers with the Dunedin Riding for the Disabled group. In her spare time she loves cooking, walking her two dogs and reading.
