Kohe Ruwhiu - 2014 student editor of the Māori Law Review

Kohe is of Ngāpuhi descent.

Kohe is a student at Victoria University of Wellington studying towards a Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in Economics and Finance).

She is actively involved in UN Youth New Zealand. Kohe is part of the 2013 UN Youth Wellington Regional Council and was part of the 2013 organising committee (Education portfolio) for New Zealand Model United Nations. Kohe represented New Zealand at The Hague International Model United Nations (THIMUN) in 2011.

She is also involved in Tuia te here Tangata (previously known as the Mayors' Task Force for Jobs). Kohe was Deputy Head Girl of New Plymouth Girls’ High School in 2010.

In 2014 Kohe is in her penultimate year of University. She is very interested in working either in social enterprise or in a legal role focusing on property and commercial law.
