[2025] Māori Appellate Court MB 142 (2025 APPEAL 142)

The Court allowed an appeal from a decision to grant a permanent injunction in a situation where the holder of an occupation order sought the Court's assistance to remove a person they had initially permitted to stay.

The Court determined that it holds jurisdiction over an incorporated charitable trust established for the benefit of the Ngāti Tāwhirikura hapū but not established under Part 12 of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993.
