Julia Amua Whaipooti, Ngāti Porou, studied law at Victoria University of Wellington. She was the Faculty Rep on Ngā Rangahautira (Māori Law Students Association at Victoria University), in the working group of JustSpeak (rangatahi engaging rangatahi in criminal justice issues), and a rugby coach! Julia was on the rangatahi panel in the 2013 Te Papa Treaty debates.
